A Couple Session in Florence: It’s a pleasure for the eyes and the heart to photograph
A couple session of a love in Florence in August seems impossible. Hundreds of thousands of tourists around the city of Florence, no chance to have some intimacy. But we wanted to take photos at all costs. The only way was to wake-up at dawn and take advantage of the deserted city … and it was magnificent.
The morning light that filtered through the buildings that still slept. The already hot light flooded us and taking pictures was easy and with so much fun.
But perhaps it is better to start from the beginning. Alexandra is a person with a unique character I learned to know in a few days.
From the moment she contacted me I felt the right feeling: first of all, she is a wonderful and funny Canadian girl. She has a blog for years now about cultural life in Italy. She is in love with photography. And finally, she inevitably married a loving Florentine man.
But they still did not have pictures that framed their lives together in the city of Florence, so that’s why they wanted a couple session in Florence.
The vitality, love, and tenderness that emerge from this photo session are truly visible.
And I know why (and I hope Thomas does not get angry), but no one like Alexandra could have set so well. She really has such an exquisite taste for art, good food, good wine and Italian clothes! A very Italian girl in her heart and soul, perpetually in love and always with a smile on her face.
All these things I’ve talked about can be quite understood from his wonderful blog, which she constantly updates. But not only this, she is also a very good editorialist for The Florentine: a magazine specializing in Florentine’s Art life. I love photographing people like her, busy, lively. Always curious about the city she lives in and of the world. I have been fortunate enough to have met them, an immense pleasure.
I hope you enjoyed it, would you like to see others love stories?
